Cuca’s
By: Braxton Leeds
To your credit here, dear readers, you didn’t do the dumb thing and vote in “Taco Bell” or some shit. Which means . . . we’ll extract all of your more cultured virtues, yet! And so everyone loves Cuca’s and finds it the most affordable meal in the entire Inland Empire. Good. The Rialto location has the outdoor patio and the vibe, while Redlands one the tucked-away bar with the quiet hum of air-conditioning—but whichever Cuca’s location you’re at, the food things are totally barato. Especially the burritos, like the chile verde or the carne asada ranging from $5.59-$5.99. Most expensive thing on the menu is the Cuca’s Fajitas Trio ($16.29), which is teeming with jumbo shrimp, carne asada and chicken . . . otherwise, the southern end of $10 just about everywhere.
