The bright pastel sun winks at you as you enter Back to the Grind, playing cards direct you to the proper restroom and if you scour the nine-shelf high bookcase hard enough you’ll find Sly Stallone’s masterpiece of lit, Paradise Alley. Live music, RUPO poetry readings on Mondays and the Saturation Fest are hosted here and there was something else about Back to the Grind . . . oh yes. Coffee! They’ve got enough strong java to wake up the entire city of Riverside. (Kevin Ausmus)
