Nestled in a modest business complex on a tiny street in Grand Terrace, just around the corner from the TapouT clothing compound, Red Door is a tattoo parlor and gallery founded by artist Jimi Martinez, formerly of Tattoo Revolution. Martinez started the gallery to expand his horizons, and now they stretch forever. Though the popular Gunnar has gone back to Ohio, the Red Door has survived the crucial first year test. Go for a tatt, or just to enjoy the exhibits—which are worth the trip all by themselves. (Kevin Ausmus)
