The Glass House

Bottom line: If there’s an artist playing Orange County or Los Angeles and also the Glass House, then there’s totally no excuse having to leave the (909) to catch them. This venue single-handedly revived Downtown Pomona’s Arts Colony in the mid-’90s and continues to be a cornerstone destination, anchoring the many shops that line Second Street, all the while providing some of the greatest names in indie rock, punk, hip-hop and electronica. The sound and stage have vastly improved since the House’s inception—two more reasons to attend if you haven’t been in ages. Plus, have you seen the new bar? (Waleed Rashidi)
