Who needs to leech off other markets’ airwaves when we’ve got our own alternative rock station that’ll do us fine, thankyouverymuch? San Berdoo’s X103.9FM is this unsung oasis of alternative rock goodness, spinning stuff to which we’ve all banged heads (Pennywise and the Foo Fighters, for example), and going the extra mile in airing singles in heavy rotation from bands at which major markets have snubbed their noses. Supporting the rock causes in more ways than one, this X certainly marks the spot on our dials. The readers have spoken. (Waleed Rashidi)
