You’re a fan of freedom, right? Well, how about EXTREME freedom? The kind of freedom that allows you to chug a beer and watch legions of sweaty motocross riders barrel around dirt tracks and performing death-defying stunts. Or how about the kind of freedom that comes with badass monster truck smashing and fireworks . . . lots of fireworks. For those seeking the real perks of the American Revolution, join your fellow brethren at this years massive Kaboom! event at the Pomona Fairplex. What’s this year’s theme for such an explosive extravaganza? You guessed it, “Red, White & Boom!” This annual celebration continues to inspire the pyro lovin‘ patriot in all of us as the rumble and tumble of motorbikes and monster trucks give way to one of the largest fire works displays in IE. As evidenced by it’s sold-out crowds every year since 2002, Kaboom! is a generous slice of middle Americana right here in our own backyard. So feel free, EXTREMELY free, to kick back, guzzle the American-drafted brew of your choice and spend some quality family time with the younguns in a medley of magic and mud-caked tires. Ah, if the Founding Fathers could only see us now.
