Very Merry Xmas Party at CSU San Bernardino

The very cool folks at X103.9FM have apparently taken it upon themselves to fill that void in your alt-rock bosom with a Very Merry Xmas Party scheduled at Cal State San Berdoo. And they’re bringing the big guns out for this bad boy. Chevelle will be serving up hefty dose of loud rock dynamics (Come one, don’t pretend like you weren’t digging “Vitamin R” back in ’04!). Then you’ve got Aussie alt-metal unit Sick Puppies (whose single “You’re Going Down” was a pay-per-view WWE theme song) and everyone’s favorite Jesus rockers (appropriate for a Christ-mas show, don’t ya think?) from Switchfoot, who just released they’re latest, Hello Hurricane, last month. Also on the bill are been-around-the-block punkers and Warped Tour vets Unwritten Law and punk-rap mash-up crew Paper Tongues. If you haven’t heard of the Tongues, then you obviously haven’t placed your butt anywhere near a dancefloor in the past few months. Sure, you may be on Christmas break, but we’ll be damned if this killer lineup at the Coussoulis Arena doesn’t have you rushing back to campus like they were giving away Coachella tickets. Rock the halls, y’all!
